We’re in our 80’s and live in a two-story townhouse. The top of the staircase was a particularly dim area which is a bit hazardous to us oldies. We had Kings Electrical in during the level 2 lockdown and they installed a brilliantly bright LED light in the hallway, replaced a blown bulb in a bedside lamp, and installed a floodlight outdoors which brightens up the whole patio area.

Following the Christchurch earthquakes, Kings Electrical did all our EQC set up and fit-outs for residential housing. I’m a fairly strict fella when it comes to being on time and doing the job right the first time. So yeah, they were fine. I’ve asked them to deal with some pretty curly stuff and they always get it figured out. With the fit-out of my showroom it was extremely hard to get cable across a roof space and then down a double thickness wall that had many obstacles within it.
The King’s team worked really hard to figure it out and the end result is just what I wanted.
They’re professional, timely, and accurate with their quotes. Also, importantly, I feel comfortable having them in-front of mutual clients as I know they won’t bring my company into disrepute.

We provide power protection services to critical infrastructure nationwide such as data storage, water treatment stations, public hospitals. We required an electrical contractor who could make some backup battery power units for a commercial client in Christchurch. Kings Electrical were contractors who could do this and they did it well. King’s Electrical handle massive house renovation
Our builder recommended Kings’ for a 100 sq m addition to our 20-year-old house. Effectively building half an extra house on to the existing.
It was a complicated wiring task blending new with old but they did an amazing job and got everything fitted in and working. They also wired power to a separate sleepout and sorted our outdoor lighting.
